Has Lily Allen finally settled down…? After being expelled from some
of the UK’s most prestigious schools for drinking and smoking, Allen
dropped out of school to sell ecstacy and went on to become one of
England’s most well-known pop stars and party animals, laying waste to
herself and others, assaulting photographers and making a spectacle of
herself at infamous appearances like her debacle
at the Cannes Film Festival. After sobering tragedies like her
miscarriage with Chemical Brother Ed Simons, Allen’s life has changed
drastcially. She’s expecting again, a girl named Ethel Mary, the name
her mother accidentally leaked to the press (oops, sooory Lily!) and has
been invited to perform at a tribute to Amy Winehouse alongside other
British firebrands like Jessie J and Florence Welsh, who will be taking a
break from Florence and the Machine tour dates
to pay her respects to the late singer. Don’t count Lily out yet
though. In a bid to revive her spat with troubled Girls Aloud singer
Cheryl Cole, Allen tweeted: “Wow 40% of Girls Aloud will have been
charged with assault.” That sounds a bit more like our girl.
